My 2001 Pontiac Bonneville that I bought used when it was less than 1 year old and that is still covered by the extended warranty has been in the shop more than it's out. I'm convinced it's not the car (for verifiable reasons too long to list here) but the mechanics at the dealership. When my boyfriend gets involved, problems are solved. When I try to deal ...
Since I changed one of my brake lines on my 89 pontiac bonneville my front brakes keep locking up and have caught on fire twice.
My front brakes just started to grind and not all the time just when I make the short stop and go. I need to have them checked and want to make sure that when I go they do not try to sell me something I do not need. So what should I look for when they show the brake system. If it is the pads should I replace the back ones at the same time?
When I RELEASE my brake pedal it just started squeaking. Does it just need lubricating? If so can I use WD40 and where do I apply it?
I have a rattle under the hood that sounds like it is coming from the pulleys of the drive belt. It's only noticeable when the car is sitting idle or stopped. When driving it goes away. The rattle noise sounds like the noise you hear when a diesel engine is running but a little louder. Please help!
No brake lights except center one in back window. Have replaced fuse, bulbs and switch. What else?
My car is making a noise while when I drive - not in idle. It is not high pitched. One repair shop said it was probably wheel bearings - does this sound logical?
I have a 95 pontiac bonneville, and just a few days ago, the fabric overhead just all of a sudden unglued itself from the roof. Is there a way I can glue it back together?
My roommate backed into my car and it broke my front bumper and dented the hood. We went and got 2 estimates ($1700 for the damage) However here is the tricky part. I had ran into someone before and the front was already a little messed up (the left grill broke out and the bumper had a small crack) so now she says we should split the cost 50/50. I don't ...
I just bought a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville and the driver's seat belt has a small problem. It tends to curl in the vertical direction, which makes the sides poke me in the chest in a rather uncomfortable way! Do I need to replace the whole seat belt to fix this problem or is there a way to purchase a straightener or other device to stop the curling?
My oil light has been on for the last two days maybe more I do not know, now today half way to work my check engine light came on. Not only that but there is a strange noise coming from the hood. It is not a squeaking or a clanking or a scratching, and it is not very loud. Is it just that it needs oil? I do not really have the money to fix it and its my ...
Whenever I start my car, I smell a strong smell of gasoline. I looked under the car and there is no evidence of leaks. I also turned on the car and looked under the hood and did not see any obvious leaks. What do I do, or how can I get rid of the smell?!
I have a 2007 g6 my boyfriend recently replaced the airbag, the clock spring, the airbag module and he has cleared the computer. but we are still getting the service airbag code. We have a bet who can fix this problem first and I really want to bet him over this one. So if you have any suggestions on how to fix this please let me know..
I have a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville with 247K. when the engine is cold it does not want to go into reverse until it has warmed up a bit other than that it seems to run pretty good. I recently had it tuned up.
Where is the airbag fuse located on a 1994 pontiac bonneville
Hi there, i have the option between two cars to buy. One is an 03 Pontiac bonneville with 117,835 miles, no accidents, drives well. Or i could purchase an 08 ford fusion with 169,873 miles with 2 minor accidents. Im just not sure an older car with less miles or an newer car with high mileage, which one will last me longer. What should i chooses?
