I would like to buy a Mini Cooper but the nearest dealer is 60 miles away. They said that they have to maintain it or else I will void the warranty - even for oil changes! Should I buy a used one close to home and not worry about having a dealer maintain it?
Dear Patty: I am currently leasing a Mini, which I love to drive; however I am going to need an SUV before my lease is up. I would be interested in staying with BMW and I like the X5 in particular. Do you know if it is possible to bring back the Mini before the lease is up and start a new lease (X5) with the same dealer I got the Mini ...
At how many miles do I have to get my car serviced?
I am looking at a mini cooper a couple of years old. What can you tell me about the run flat tires? Where would I even buy a new tire if I don't deal with a dealership? How much is each tire? Is it better to get all of the tires switched over to regular road tires, and if so, where would the spare tire go? Also, do they really get 30 mpg around town?

My guys called me back and said cylinder 4 has very ...
I have a Mini Cooper 2009 and I'm having trouble with it. When I insert the key in the ignition nothing happens. No lights in the dashboard light up or anything. I tried changing the ignition switch and it didn't work. We tried jump starting it and nothing. I did some research and some say the immobilizer kicked in? I could really use any help I can get.
