Momkhana_Famous_Footwear_Toyota_Sienna_minivanWhat minivan-driving mom hasn't wished she could speed away from the schoolyard leaving behind tire tracks and the smoke of burned rubber?

A new commercial from Famous Footwear  takes it even further, showing the minivan mom and her kids racing around her suburban neighborhood, doing donuts in cul-de-sacs and weaving between the roadside recycling bins. The commercial stars Hollywood stunt woman Shauna Duggins,  best known for her stunt work on the Iron Man 3 (2013) and Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) films, and most recently in the Showtime series "Ray Donovan."

A mom in real life, Duggins is driving a customized Toyota Sienna minivan that's been fitted with a high-performance General Motors LS3 550-horsepower V-8 all-aluminum engine (which usually powers the Chevrolet Camaro and Corvette) that was built by the tuning crew over at JEM FX. In addition to the engine transplant, the minivan gets a massive handbrake to allow for big slides through the neighborhood, and special wheels and tires. Between shots, you can see Momkhana_Famous_Footwear_Nike_shoesDuggins put the pedal to the metal wearing stylish green Nike sneakers, most likely bought at Famous Footwear. Meanwhile, the kids in the back seat enjoy the g-forces much like they might any favorite roller coaster ride.

The video, created by digital shop Shareability, is called "Momkhana" and it's a parody of the intense driving style "gymkhana," that's been popularized by rally car driver Ken Block. The driving happened and the stunts are real; Duggins clearly is a talented driver.

If you're curious to see how the video was created, Famous Footwear also made a behind-the-scenes featurette   showing off some of the van's preparation and filming. Most importantly, even though the finished video shows the kids calmly buckle up their five-point harnesses and put on their helments, the behind-the-scenes featurette demonstrates they weren’t actually in the car for any dangerous driving.

No matter how much you might want to, you shouldn't start hooning through your own neighborhood like this. But if you happen see Duggins driving the Famous Footwear minivan, you might want to let her pass.
