About Danna "Daytona" Dayton:
Daytona has worked thirty years in the entertainment industry of
music, motorsports and has sung and performed internationally. She was
the first female licensed mechanic for NASCAR in 1984, and a former
race car driver. Ms. Dayton has hosted radio talk shows for numerous
years in a variety of markets, with topics primarily around music and
motorsports among others.
Daytona is a motivational speaker, national columnist, an advocate of creating fundraisers to help various children’s charities and founded TEAM CHAMPIONS OF AMERICA to help children’s self esteem. Daytona was instrumental in contacting Senators to pass a proclamation for National Children's Day Resolution in Legislation in 1999, and has since then coordinated several National Children's Day events.
Daytona is a mother of four children, grandmother of two and loves to snowboard with her children. Currently she resides in Eagle, Idaho.
