AAPEX attendees are in for a treat. AutoTex Pink, the product aiming to "Wipe Out Breast Cancer" is targeting the female demographic like never before. In its' 18th year at AAPEX, WEXCO Industries (the parent company of AutoTex Windshield Wipers) recognizes the ever changing aftermarket industry with a special guest. Jody DeVere, President and CEO of AskPatty.com, will be making guest appearances to field questions and give input on how to make your location female friendly at WEXCO's Booth number 847.
Since its introduction into the industry in 2009, AutoTex Pink has remained the only product in automotive that makes a location female friendly and the only wiper blade that donates its proceeds to preventing breast cancer year round. AutoTex Pink windshield wiper blades come only in a standard black color with a small pink ribbon promoting the cause of breast cancer research and awareness and full pink color for those who wish to make a bolder statement of support. AutoTex Pink blades are available in metal or flex and fit over 98% of vehicles on the road.
"Come October's National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, shelves are stocked with pink products, meant to catch the consumer's eye and heart. Although we celebrate October whole-heartedly, we approach our efforts year round. After all, breast cancer affects people 365 days a year. People always need windshield wipers. Why not purchase a pair that gives back?" says founder of AutoTex Pink, Paula Lombard.
Since the brand's inception, AutoTex Pink has grown from 2 to 6 lines of wipers and is distributed nationwide. AutoTex Pink will also be awarded the Gold Level of Sponsorship from the National Breast Cancer Foundation this year from its donations.
