I was in an online meeting the other night.  The meeting was sponsored by and  Several were there asking questions about car maintenance and motor oil, among other things.  As I was reading all the questions being asked and the answers being given, the most used answer was "check your owners manual".  If the question started with "when, what, how"...answer please.  "Check your owners manual".

Most of us are looking to save a few bucks these days and when it comes to your car, cheaper isn't always better.
