Patrick's Day is over, and the official colors of March are now green
and pink. We've got info on cars, dogs, women; and even more blogs on
cars, dogs, and women. How can anybody go wrong with a combo like that?
In an era of organic dog treats and canine acupuncture, pet owners are
increasingly mulling what's best for their pooches when they shop for
cars. Safety, as well as concerns about fabric and the height of the
threshold, rank high. According to the Detroit Free Press , some manufacturers have tuned into these desires to sell vehicles with special dog-friendly features.
Two women are expected to drive in the first race of the IndyCar Series
season Saturday night in Homestead, Florida: It would be hard to find
anyone who has not heard of Danica Patrick, but the other racer, Sarah
Fisher, actually preceded Patrick. Fisher has returned to racing Indy
cars full-time for the Dreyer & Reinbold Racing team that includes
Buddy Rice, Patrick's former teammate, and the 2004 Indianapolis 500
champion. Read more about Fisher at the New York Times .
When
looking for a vehicle, pick the one that has proof that it has been
looked after and don't listen to the sales people if they tell you it
has had all its services done or if they can't provide you with a
properly stamped log book or receipts for the work done. Find out why
having the service history is a must when purchasing a vehicle at autofix.com.

They probably won't make you walk any faster, but they might give your
day an amazing kick start. Samantha Thompson Smith, is talking about
NASCAR pumps, flats, and sandals designed with the racing culture in
mind. The line is coming to retail stores in May, but you can get a
sneak peek here at the North Carolina News observer.
According to author Scott Adamson, NASCAR is to be commended for its
Drive for Diversity program. Since the top level of stock car racing is
now an international sport, multi-billion dollar industry, and pulls in
TV ratings second only to the National Football League... perhaps it's
time to recruit a big name. He says "I'm talking, of course, about
Danica Patrick." Read more at knoxnews.com

took a trip out to California to test drive the new high-performance,
road-hugging, ultra-narrow Tango electric car. There aren't too many of
them on the roads right now, though, according to the official Tango Site, George Clooney has a black one. I'm not sure what makes it cooler: that it is electric, or that George Clooney has one.
Rumor has it that Ford will be offering an appearance package on 2008
V6 coupe and convertible Mustangs, decking the car out with pink
interior and trim. Our friends at Jalopnik say it will be part of Ford's Warriors In Pink anti-breast-cancer campaign. While Mustangblog.com

with other Pink accents throughout the interior. So far, the Ford
Media site is keeping quiet.

a no-brainer. On the other hand, we suppose sometimes you can't express
these health issues strongly enough: This Lady Auto Parts Expert shares legislation being introduced in Illinois that will ban smoking in cars with kids.
