Tax time is approaching, so before you panic over filling out a gazillion forms, take a break and read the carnival. We've got the usual assortment of ladylike links honoring important women in the automotive industry, as well as a ginormous collection of items highlighting the New York Auto Show.

In an effort to encourage sales of new vehicles and jumpstart the auto industry, State Rep. Terry Brown, has announced a plan to let residents deduct the value of their trade-in on their taxes when they buy a new vehicle, which will give consumers an incentive to buy new vehicles.
