Welcome back to this week's blog carnival of female friendly car items from all around the world. Last week we completely focused on women and their cars. This week it's all about the cars. We'll start you off normal with a nice new-car review, move into something more interesting about movie cars; but after that, it's all about wacky cars. Enjoy!

Transformers_camaro_chase Dan Mohler, Fandango's VP of sales, explains how a love affair with the highway contributed to a summer of movie marketing blockbusters saying "Hollywood has had a long-standing love affair with the open road. Strange_cars Here's a slideshow of some, artistic, comic, and strange cars you've just got to see to believe. My favorite? The camouflaged Lamborghini. Which is your favorite?

Lego_car Here's a running commentary on many unusual vehicles this blogger has seen on the road. My favorite is the Lego car. Feel free to add to the imagery if you've also seen something interesting worth sharing!

Smart_car_with_commode_2 Here's a funky little Smart Car we found at Flickr with a wacky, attention-getting rooftop prop. Talk about "outdoor plumbing"!

Aluminum_car This Flickr car is covered with an artistic application of aluminum foil. Now THAT'S a fashion statement I'm not sure I'm ready to make...
