Jill Trotta is an ASE Certified (6 areas) industry veteran with over 25 years of experience. Jill started as a technician and has worked her way through the ranks. She has held positions as technician, service advisor, service manager, parts director, shop owner, and is currently the Director of the Automotive Group for RepairPal.
Jill has a wide range of experience and a deep love of the industry. She closely identifies with the day to day workings of an automotive repair facility and prides herself on her ability to problem solve and create change. In her current position, she is in charge of establishing and enforcing the criteria for the RepairPal Certification program. Jill has evaluated over 4000 independent auto shops for this program. Her knowledge of the process and training that shops are using is vast as well as her knowledge of auto repair pricing.
Jill's current position puts her is a position to work with both shops and consumers. She is tireless works to create a bridge of understanding between consumers and auto shops in her current role as well as through the quarterly consumer car care clinics she leads at local shops. Jill has also presented on topics that range from building your personal brand to automotive price transparency.
