Dr. Martha E. Rader is a professor, leadership developer, and a passionate business, leadership coach, speaker, trainer, and consultant that helps people, teams, and businesses reach higher levels of potential and inspire a more positive, diverse culture and to help retain talent and achieve goals.
Leaders, managers, and businesses enjoy working with Martha because of her passion, ability to connect, expert knowledge, and high-quality results. She is known to build strong trusting relationships that create a safe authentic space that invites exploration and reasoning of behavior and gaps to determine what is getting in the way of you and your team in creating solutions towards a more positive, productive culture and that lays the groundwork for a competitive advantage.
Martha has years of experience in leading automotive captive teams that resulted in personal and professional growth and that exceeded goals. As an executive leader, she led multi-state teams that earned the highest JD Power client satisfaction scores in the U.S. for the company’s largest territory in the country.
She has served automotive dealers in providing funding for buy-sell agreements, real estate, indirect retail customers, F&I products and consulting and in the 1990s she was part of the team that developed and provided In Dealership Training Programs that assisted in propelling more affordable consumer payment options and GM automotive leasing. She also served GM divisional, local, and regional teams in developing and marketing incentives and programs.
Dr. Martha E. Rader was nominated for the Automotive News' 100 Leading Women in North America Auto Industry, 2010 and recipient of Northwood University Outstanding Achievement Alumni Award, 2005 (and mentor).
She has held board seats for Hope South Florida (helping the hurting and homeless), The GM Women’s Retail Initiative (now WRN), The Automotive Women’s Alliance (and mentor), Advisor and Board Member for GM Cadillac and Buick’s Dealer Council and volunteer initiatives such as Christ Church Team Leader for Greeters and other initiatives, 4-Kids, and Habitat for Humanity. She is a Keiser University Professor, an MBA graduate from Northwood University, and a Ph.D. graduate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a supporter of Women in Automotive.
Outside of work, Martha enjoys her large family, many nieces, and nephews, her sassy cat Jimi Jac, and her fiancé’s grandchildren and spending time outdoors, hiking, biking, golfing, fishing, traveling and volunteer work.
