About Mike and Leslie Najjar
Here in St. Louis, one of the most important questions you can ask someone is "Where did you go to high school?" Mike Najjar graduated from Mercy High School in 1973. Leslie graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1974. They met at St. Louis University and were married in 1979.
Mike and Leslie have three children and live in South County.
Mike Najjar began his automotive career in 1983 as the manager of the Crestwood Amoco. In 1989 he left that job in order to buy his own business, Mike's Bridgeton Shell. Mike returned to his Amoco roots in 1992, when he purchased his first Amoco station at the corner of I-55 and Reavis Barracks Road. By the year 2000, there were three locations and the name Najjar Car Care was born.
"Owning a business is a great career for me. It's challenging; there's always something new happening. Being in a service business gives me the opportunity to help people by solving their car problems," Mike says. "There's no doubt in my mind that I have the best managers and technicians in the St. Louis area, and possibly anywhere. These guys do such a great job, it makes my job much easier. They're fun to work with, they take care of our customers very well."
