My daughter-in-law asked me to help her with a new car purchase. Her present car is a Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4 wheel drive. She uses this car to go to and from work about 30 miles round trip and also for the occasional family trip. Her lease is up in September and she wants to buy her next car instead of leasing. My car is leased and I am due to turn it in in October. My all weather tires need to be replaced.I have winter tires on it now and want to leave them on rather than spend money to replace the all weathers.My question is, Is there any danger of using these winter tires in summer months?
Michelin Xice2 winter tires is recognized as a top 5 winter tire. However, consumer reports claims that the tire does not fair well on wet or dry ground. What does this mean exactly? Not sure how it's a top 5 tire and not fair well in these areas.
Twice a year I swap my winter tires on to my vehicle in December and March. Each time I do this I am charged to program the TPMS sensor. I originally purchased the winter tires with their own rims and TPMS sensor. Is it necessary to reprogram and pay for the swapping fee as well as the program of the sensor each time.(that is, 2x/year)?
Hi, I would like to purchase a set of used winter tires for my Nissan Pathfinder. I found as set (tire and rims) which was installed on 2011 Ford Edge. The tire size is 235/70R17. The bolt patterns are the same but the center bore is 1mm larger on the PF. Will this fit my PF SL with 18 inch tires. thanks
