My 05 Ford Freestyle has a faint whining noise, I think coming from the right side towards dash when sitting at the steering wheel. It happens only on a warm engine and I hear it better at low speeds going up and down when accelerating. Ford dealer was setting me up for a rip-off.Not a loud noise.
