My car was serviced recently and the coolant temperature sensor and the coolant level sensor were changed to new ones. When I drive the temp gauge still shows running hot and goes all the way red and sometimes beeps. As I drive it goes up and down especially at stop lights where I put it in neutral then it does not move.
I installed the coolant temperature sending unit on my 1998 Ford F-150 and also bought the coolant temperature sensor. I can't find where to install the temperature sensor. Where does it go or is this the sending unit and sensor all in one? My truck has been bringing up codes 171 and 174 leading me to believe the problem might be with those items. What ...

Weekday is causing temperature to drop when driving my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. While idling it maintained temp around 210 once you start driving the temp slowly starting to drop. I have already changed coolant temperature sensor.
