My 1992 BMW 325i has been slowly leaking antifreeze for several years. My mechanic has tightened and changed various hoses but to no avail. Any suggestions?
My front brakes were noisy and I took my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a look. What was supposed to be a "99.00" brake job has suddenly become a $600+ brake overhaul. The service adviser is telling me I need calipers, hoses, brake rotors, and pads. This sounds extreme for a vehicle with less than 50,000 miles. What do you think?
where exactly is the pvc located on a '91 ford explorer and what does it look like? i found what i thought was it, but it has an opening for a hose. yet the auto store sold me one that has a place place for two hoses. ????
How do I remove the hoses at the bottom of the power steering pump on a 96' Saturn SL2 1.9L DOHC?
i have a 99 vw cabrio, the check engine light came on the fourth time,is a trouble code 411 for an air flow problem,i changed all the vacuum hoses and also the fuse blow twice.its maybe the air pump(smog pump)should i change this part?its $800.please help.no one can tell me,how i can find out,if the pump is really broken.
When would you change the transmission fluid in a CVT transmission like the nissan murano has. The book does not require but recommends 60k. Also do you think it is a good Idea just to replace all hoses and belts at 60k or just have them checked at every oil change. Should the mechanic be able to tell when the hoses and belts are worn down?
The engine light went off this week, and the auto place says I have an evaporation problem by the fuel tank. He advised the gas tank will have to come out to check the hoses before they can give me an idea if that\
