Should I allow my shop to use Fluid RX Sampling on my car?
For past month, my Subaru Forester frequently seems to clunk/jump at slow speeds, mostly when I pull in/out of parking spot or driveway, when engine is still cold. Where is the ETS sensor located on this vehicle? The ETS "Check Engine" light came on 3 days ago and the gears seem to shift hard and change from 1st to 2nd to 3rd and so on. It is an automatic transmission, the fluid is clean and I have never had any problems with the transmission. Is it possible that the ETS sensor would cause this hard shifting?
