if i install an aftermarket cold air intake how can i compensate for my computer detecting higher airflow and throwing more fuel into the engine?
I recently had the fuel pump replaced and now my check engine light is on and the mechanic says it is the fuel sensor, could something have gone wrong when they fixed the pump or is this common?
I just bought a bottle of blue devil head gasket sealer that said for use in 4 and 6 cylinder engines and my truck is 8 cylinders. Can I still use this product on my truck or do I have to get the other bottle with the yellow sticker
My vehicle has 108,000 miles on it. It stalled three separate times over a period of two weeks, but would start right back up. I took it to a mechanic and they gave the car a tune up and a new timing belt. When I picked up the car it didn't sound right. After the car warms up, the engine light comes on and the engine begins to sputter and cut out and will stall if the RPMs fall below 1500 or so. When it does stall, the engine will struggle to start back up again but it will, and continue to sputter on. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My check engine light came on and the shop that I took it to said I had a code of P0442. They said I had to replace my canister, purge valve, and my gas cap.
