My 2005 Toyota Corolla has 41,055 miles on it, so I am averaging a bit over 5,000 miles per year. I have been taking it in for an oil change about every 6 months and I think my husband took it in for 1 (or 2) tune up. Is there general guidelines on how often (in miles or months) my car should get a tune up and oil change?
I have a 87 Corolla FWD 8V carbureated. I was replacing spark plugs and tried to index them. They were maybe fitted too loose. The engine was running rough at idle and moving, made this puff , puff, sound like a model T. Car is shaking in high gears like 4th and 5th because the engine in general is running rough and low on power. . Even I re- tightened ...
The seatbealt will not buckle in my 97 Toyota Corolla. I tried cleaning the inside with alcohol and q-tip,spraying it with computer air and spraying it with WD-40. It still will not buckle and click. The local Toyota dealership gave me a quote for $190 in parts and one hour labor. Apparently you would have to take the seat out in order to replace this ...

When I was driving my 2009 Toyota Corolla I ran over something in the road. Now my oil pan has a hole in it. Does the whole motor have to be taken out to replace it or can you replace it from underneath?
The battery light on my 1995 Toyota Corolla came on. I had the battery checked and got a new one, but the light was still on. I had the diagnostic done and said alternator was bad, so I got a new one and put it on. I had to take the AC loose to get to it, and now the car doesn't do anything, like it doesn't have a battery in it, no light, buzzers etc. ...
The dealership gave me a $545 quote to replace oil pan on my Toyota Corolla. I was told the screw that holds the gasket in place is stripped. Does the entire pan need replacing? Is this a reasonable quote?
