Generally speaking, how long do front hub assembly & bearings last? Can they be damaged by abuse? (my truck was stolen and recovered two month ago - found stripped in the desert) I have a F-350 with 54,000 miles & have had to replace both sides on the front end. thanks for your assistance, Lene James

hi i have a lexus gs430 2001 i have a slight ticking noise from the passanger side when i drive and when i hit the brakes the noise goes away. while driving straight makes the ticking noise turning noise goes away untill steering is straight again.can that be the hub bearings ??

My car is making a noise while when I drive - not in idle. It is not high pitched. One repair shop said it was probably wheel bearings - does this sound logical?
