My 95 Corolla has always needed a tune up shortly after being serviced. But now, my husband is driving it 40 miles back and forth to work, as the lowest mpg car, but it is hesitating and missing. There is no obvious cause, except if he stops at a light or has to climb a hill, it is barely able to make it up and over. He has changed the spark plugs, air ...
I have a 2003 Windstar with approx 68,000 miles. The car had been having an issue that every once in awhile when I started it (approx every 2 weeks), it would run very rough, and also it would seem to jump into gear at stops. so a couple months ago I went to have the 60,000 mile service, which was a bit too pricey so the mechanic recommended I get it done ...

It stops when I push the brake pedal, and it usually disappears once I am going over 40 ...

My daughters car is a 1999 Saturn SC2. My mechanic says the brake pads/caliper, etc. are fine, but the pedal is very soft. What could be the cause? I checked the brake fluid and it is not low. The car stops/slows fine.
During extreme cold or heat my car often makes a humming noise while I'm slowing or stopping. Sometimes it shuts off but when I'm able to and hit the gas the humming quits and the car continues to run fine. It never happens when I'm accelerating only when I'm rolling to a stop. I wonder if it is fuel related just because it always stops when I push on the ...
