My 1989 F150, will not run right, after I had ran it out of gas. Its not the fuel line, we changed the main filter, and did a electrical test on the pump, you can hear it engaging, it will start and run but when the accelerator is pressed it basically chokes itself out. Any advise?
My front brakes just started to grind and not all the time just when I make the short stop and go. I need to have them checked and want to make sure that when I go they do not try to sell me something I do not need. So what should I look for when they show the brake system. If it is the pads should I replace the back ones at the same time?
My engine light came on and stayed on. I just filled my car with gas and it jerks on acceleration like it has bad gas in it. I put gas treatment in but it started doing it again today. After a new tank of gas from Krogers, last Thursday at midnight while driving home in dry ...
After I drive for a while the low coolant light comes on. There is enough coolant in the surge tank. If I turn the engine off and re-start it, the light will go off for a while and then come on again. The engine is the 3.0 DOHC V6 Duratec.
This is a follow-up to a question I posted a couple of months ago. I am the original owner of a 95 Toyota Camry LE with only 45,000 miles on it. In the last six months or so (and perhaps coincidentally, right after I'd had the timing belt replaced), it has started doing a weird thing. Around town and on short hops on the freeway, it runs fine. But when I ...
When I RELEASE my brake pedal it just started squeaking. Does it just need lubricating? If so can I use WD40 and where do I apply it?
