Hi. Our OB has 84K miles on it. Today found out it needs 2 head gaskets, a timing belt, and the water pump is leaking fluid. Ballpark estimate is $2,500. Also, last week backed into a tree and got a $2,000 estimate for those repairs. My friend swears that it would be ridiculous to pour that money into it at this point, saying this is the tip of the ...
I have been leasing a Honda Civic LX 4 door Sedan for several years now. The lease is almost up so I have been looking at 2012 cars to start a new lease. There is some damage to the Civic. Scratches on the roof and side and a deep scratch/dent on the left side lower panel. This is causing concern for the dealers who see my car. If I fix the damage to the ...

Also, the car can't be ...
My fuel pump and water pump and gaskets have been replaced about a year or so ago. I do not drive a lot but suddenly the water overflow container loses all the extra water and I have oil leaks which cause smoking when I drive. Is there a product I can put in the oil and water container to prevent leaks? I have no money for costly repairs. Thanks
Which is the best resource to get an idea of what certain common repairs would cost in Houston(so I can have a price point as a reference)? RepairPal, CarMD or DriverSide? Also best resource to recommend a trusted shop?
My question is about the cat converter. I brought my car to a local repair shop, same shop i've been bringing it to for years, had the front and rear differential replaced. A week of two later on of the 02 sensors goes out. They replace that but recommend that i replace the other 3 as well. Couldn't afford it at that time. Well, 2 weeks later, as i'm ...
