Hello, I have a 99 4-cyl honda accord and have a couple of questions. I wonder why my coolant is turning a dark brown color even after two coolant changes and two coolant flushes, any ideas? I did a combustion test and results were negative, I think the bottom of my radiator is filled with junk. Also, what coolant hose is next to the coolant sensor?
Okay ladies, I have a 2003 Dodge Neon. I have had the water pump, timing belt, pulley all replaced recently. About a week later it started overheating, I had never had this problem before. I replaced the thermostat, still overheated. Then I flushed the radiator, still overheated. Do you all have any more ideas for me to try? I have put over $1500 into this ...
I recently had my car's engine replaced with a rebuilt engine because of a blown cylinder. Since I got the car back, the engine light came on and I discovered there was no coolant in the radiator..the mechanic says my car now needs a new radiator fan? I'm not sure what he's talking about.

How often should the radiator fluid be changed in a 2007 Chevy Impala? My car has normal driving conditions half of the time and long distance driving the rest.
Temp guage starts to climb quite a bit when the car is idling in traffic for 4-5 mins. when i take off, the guage goeas back down to almost normal. Both fans are running and the coolant overflow bottle is full. Had a new radiator put in 2 years ago, just changed the oil and it is good.
runs fine when car is moving, but guage climbs when idiling too long
