Owners manual recommends 0w20 motor oil , oil change "mechanic" says this grade is synthetic only, if so what other grade is compatible for this car

I have an 03 Infiniti G35 and for some reason the a/c comes on and when I select auto economy it does what it suppose to by the temp in the car, however no air blows out. I tested the relay and it's good. Is it the air blower motor and if so how hard is it to repair on my own?
