Hi, My name is April Jackson. I am an undergraduate student who will be buying her first automobile soon. I do not want to buy a car that is unreliable, expensive, or imperfect for me. Can you please advise me on a affordable dealership for first time buyers? If so, what would be a good car to save my pennies for. Thanks for this site. It was just what ...
Ok, I've probably already messed up since I've already purchased the car, but here goes. I had an '03 Volkswagen Passat with 32,000 miles and some change on it. I really liked it, but I'd had some little problems here and there. My main problem was keeping the darned thing gassed up! It was a turbo, so buying premium was a drag! Anyway, back in July I ...
I have a Honda 2000 CRV. How often do I need to have the transmission fluid changed? I have had it done once at the dealership; the vehicle has 87,000 miles. I am not sure whether the owner's manual is designed to increase dealership service business or protect the longevity of my vehicle. Thanks in advance for your answer.
I am interested in a BMW 328i year 96. What is a decent price to pay for this vehicle with mileage been under 100,000? I also want to know where can I go to find such a vehicle. I am willing to drive up to 100 miles. I live in Lovejoy/Hampton, Ga. Do you know of any buy here/ pay here business just in case I can't buy from a dealership?
I have a 2002 Passat. Recently, after a heavy rain, there was substantial flooding in the floor on the driver's side. None of the electrical buttons worked, the hazard lights were frozen on, and no matter how much we mopped out the water, there would be another inch of it within an hour. Apparently, water came through the pollen filter seal into the car ...
Yesterday I almost was a victim of the "good ole boys" club when I bought a new window motor from an auto parts place, took it to another place only to have them REFUSE to put in something that did NOT come from a dealership. THen they had the balls to price the repair HIGHER than what the dealership did! I'm now trying to figure out if I can do this ...
I'm trying to find a reputable Volvo repairman for my car. I don't like to take it to a dealership as they usually muck something up. If someone could recommend one in the Ann Arbor, MI area I would appreciate it.
