I have a 2010 Ford Fusion se 4 cyl. It has been a great car and have had very minimal problems out of it but recently as we reached 245k miles the A/C has been acting weird. I am having a ticking noise while moving and it seems to get quicker with how much speed I have. Replaced the C/V axles and put lucas gear oil in the transmission. (It's a manual). Yesterday when I drove it home it didn't turn off, but the fuel pump stopped. Please help. I'm running out of money to put into this vehicle.
The positive cable for the battery is fried and I've gotten a new battery and positive cable but don't know how to replace the cable. I see the connection for the battery but how do you get the rest of the positive cable off and put the cable on? I need to be shown the whole process please. Thank you
I'm not sure this is a question you can or will answer. I have an 88' suburban 350ci, TH400 trany, and 4:10 gears at back. I'm currently getting around 11-12mgp. Is it possible to get 15-16mpg at 60-65mph out of this thing. If so, what modifications should I look to make.
My car just cut off on me. So I replaced the alternator and the battery and still the same problem. I have to get a jump in order to crank the car up. Once I take the cable off, It turns off. And I will need another jump in order to crank. like it's not keeping charge , battery good, new alternator, What could cause this problem?
