I have a 1989 Honda Accord LX (carbureted) and when the car has sat for a more than (3) hours it has a hard time getting enough power for the car to get up to 2000 RPM's (It needs to in order to warm up then the idle is supposed to drop off which it does once it warms up). The car shudders and really fights to get the idle up I have a new battery.
I have a 1997 Honda civic we just got a different transmission for it . you can drive it for like 10 minutes in till the motor gets warm then it lose all gears .we can let it cool off or take the battery cable off for few seconds it will run fine the same thing happens when it warms back up . what could this be ?
My Honda Accord won't turn off. I unhooked the battery still run. The lights in the dash stay on in the off position. Just happened so I pulled the coil wire to stop it. Guessing the ignition switch what do you think. Car runs perfect in the on or off position.
The Lights that show which Gear you are in Quit working in the Dash and at the shifter...All other lights work..even the heated seat switch which is right beside the shifter...Is there fuses? or are there Bulbs? Just strange that both went out at same time on my Honda Accord...Thanks
