I bought a 2003 Dodge Neon the timing belt and the water pump have been replaced, when I test drive the car the temperature was fine but when I drove to my house that it was 55 minutes away the car over heat I ll Chek the engine and the is not a leak any where and is not mixing water and oil what it could be?

I have an 89 Chevy Astro 1500 with a 5.7L 350 motor. It has been acting funny the past few days. It completely died on the road and would not start, went and bought a rotor button and it cranked right up, but now it won't start At times. What are some other things to check? We know it is getting fuel so it is not the problem.
