The battery light on my 1995 Toyota Corolla came on. I had the battery checked and got a new one, but the light was still on. I had the diagnostic done and said alternator was bad, so I got a new one and put it on. I had to take the AC loose to get to it, and now the car doesn't do anything, like it doesn't have a battery in it, no light, buzzers etc. ...
I just had to have the torque converter replaced in my 1999 Mercury Sable, what kind of fluid should I use, and how much does it hold?
I changed my timing belt at 105,000miles. Now I'm hearing a belt squeak coming from the front of the engine. Could it be possible I need a timing belt, or what else might it be? FYI the Subaru Outback now has 185,000 miles.
My Chevrolet Tahoe has no fan heat in front.The aux fan heat works in back. Is it a bad fuse or fan?
The airbag light has come on, but the airbag has never deployed. It hasn't been in any major accident either. I took it to a local mechanic who said he couldn't clear it with a diagnostic device. I can't afford to take it in to get it fixed. Help?!
We have taken great care of this truck, & it has had few problems, other than replacing original parts.:) I noticed that the fuel gauge on the instrument panel now fluctuates quite a bit, about a 1/4 tank, back & forth...I've spoken with a local repair shop we trust & they mentioned that the "Fuel Level Sending Unit"--similar to a float in a toilet ...
The dome light in middle of my 2006 Kia Sorento does not work when car door is open. The switch is in the right place, and it will work when you turn it on manually, but it will not go off when door is shut. Is there a fuse that controls that or what?
