Can a 1998 transmission fit a 2001

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Hello,

Thank you for writing in. A transmission from a 1998 should fit the 2001 Tahoe. Double check that the wiring terminals are a match, that they are both either 4WD or 2WD, and that the bolt patterns match. Good luck!
