My battery had to be jumped and now periodically a loud clicking noise can be heard coming from dashboard when I start the car and when I’m driving, I couldn’t find any info in manual. Any ideas what is causing this?

Hello,

Thank you for writing in. If there was no obvious reason for the battery to be dead, then you may have a failing alternator. The alternator can make a clicking noise as it begins to fail, and that might explain why your vehicle needed to be jump-started to begin with. You may want to start by having the alternator tested as well. If the alternator is not the cause, you will want to try and pinpoint the general location of the noise and start to diagnose the issue from there. Good luck!
