A few moths ago I noticed dash lights went out when I turned on my wipers. More recently I noticed my navigation screen is slower to illuminate after starting the engine. Now, when I press the start button it starts “tired”. Slower than normal. Battery voltage is consistent at 14. All lights and power windows work fine.

Hello,

Thank you for writing in. The 2014 Jeep Cherokee was recalled due to electrical issues very similar to what you describe. Due to loose wiring and software issues, the instrument cluster may experience issues, as well as other systems including the ABS (anti-lock braking system), which could be dangerous. You will want to check the VIN to see if your model falls under the Jeep Recall N58. Good Luck!
