Can I use 10w-30 oil instead

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Thank you for writing in. You  should use the type of oil suggested by the manufacture. 10w-30 is going to be much thicker and better for older and larger engines with higher miles. Your engine, being smaller and more compact, really does need a thinner oil. Stick with the manufacture recommended 5w-20 engine oil. Good luck!
