I installed a new radio receiver in my truck, everything is fine except that now the front speakers do not play sound. I have one blown out speaker in the back right hand side, the rear left speaker plays sound fine. What should I look for to fix this? I have checked all fuses and wiring.

Hello,

Thank you for writing in. Given that there is power to at least one speaker and that one speaker is working, focus in on the front speakers and its wiring. The wiring may look just fine, but still need to be replaced. The best way to test this is to test for power at the speakers with a volt meter. If there is no power to the front speakers, try to find where the power is cutting off. If there is power to the front speakers, try to diagnose what could be wrong with the speakers themselves. As a side note, as silly as it may sound, double check that the fader isn't set to the rear speakers. Good luck!
