The car occasionally makes a creaking noise behind the front console after you go a short distance.

Hello,

Thank you for writing in. The information given is not enough to able to pinpoint the possible causes of the noise you are hearing. You will want to try to determine what cause the noise based off the timing of the noise. If the noise is only present when you go over bumps or when you turn, you will want to look into your steering and suspension. You may be hearing your shocks, springs, or another loose component below the vehicle. If you are sure the noise is coming from the front console inside the cab, the possible causes can become more obscure. If the noise gets louder with engine vibrations, then you may even be hearing plastic components of the dashboard and center console rubbing against each other. Only further inspection will tell. Good luck!
