So i used the in dash code reader feature that the jeeps have where you turn your ignition on 3 times quickly and if theres a code it will show. I got a p1491 code so i tested the fan by wire to the battery and it turned on and it turns on when the ac is on so i know it works.. So i replaced the relay located under the passenger headlight and the code went away for about a day.. And now the code is back... What should i do to fix this problem?

Hello,

Thank you for writing in. If replacing the relay solved the issues, and the relay has blown again, there is an issue with the electrical system causing an excess of power in the system. The fan motor itself may be pulling too much power from having excess resistance (your most likely cause), there may be a short or an exposed wire, or other similar issue. Inspect the electrical system to the best of your ability, and be prepared to replace the fan motor. Good luck!
