We changed the radiator fan fuse on my 2000 VW Beetle GLS and now the car cranks but won’t start. The fuel pump is not receiving power, but we are not 100% sure that is the problem. All we did was replace that fuse.

Hello,

Thank you for writing in. Double check your work, and make sure that you put the right type of new fuse back into the right place. You may also want to check other fuses in the engine fuse box, in case something caused more than one fuse to blow.

If the fuel pump is not receiving power, this is a good clue to follow. Check the fuel pump relay in the engine fuse box. If the relay is good, then the lack of power going to the pump is being caused by an issue with the fuse box itself, the power supply to the fuse box, or the wiring between the fuse box and the pump. Only further testing and inspection will tell.

Good luck!
