Hello there, I imported Prius 2013 from japan. Its millage is 80,000 kms. From a month its having shaking/vibration in front portion/engine while accelerating (20km/s to 90/kms speed). I have visited to Toyota workshop and diagnosed it. I got the wheel balancing/alignment/crossing done as well as engine/gear oil also changed but the problem remains un-resolved. The Toyota experts also advice for gear box change. Please guide what could be done.

Hello,

Thank you for writing in. Chasing down a vibration issue can be difficult. Vibration issues can also be caused by faulty engine mounts, timing issues, and miscellaneous issues with the gas-powered engine. If the gas engine is having combustion issues due to bad spark plugs or a misfire, you will experience similar symptoms to what you describe. Further inspection will need to be done.
