Thank you for writing in. If the vehicle is stalling when it overheats, you can determine that the overheating is causing the vehicle to stall. Many vehicle's do it on purpose as to not destroy the engine when it overheats. When an engine passes 250 degrees, it will cause irreparable damage. You have to find the cause of the water leak, and fix that first. Check all of the coolant hoses, the radiator, and the water pump for leaks, if you do not know where it is yet. Check to see if the car still overheats. If it does, you will want to check to see if the fans are turning on. Good luck!
