My 2000 Dodge Durango makes a buzzing/ squealing noise when it's turned off. But stops as soon as it's turned back on. How do I fix it when it makes a sound in the cab when it's off?

Thank you for writing in. There are several components that are capable of making a buzzing noise. If you are certain it is coming from within the cab, try to isolate it even further. Feel and listen to the CD and tape player to see if it may be coming from the stereo. Open the glove box and listen and feel if it is coming from in or around the components on the left side of the dashboard.

If you are not certain it is coming from the cab, then you may want to listen to your fuel pump and check your engine fans. Only further inspection will tell. Good luck!
