Thank you for writing in. You are correct that the axle may be to blame. It is less likely to be a transmission issue if you can tell the issue is coming from one specific wheel. Only further inspection will tell. There is also the possibility that your wheel bearing has failed on the wheel in question. Contact a well-recommended technician in your area.
