I'm trying to find out how to turn my airbag light off and what code reader works on the airbag system?

Hello,

Thank you for writing in. Your vehicle's diagnostic system will need an OBD-1 scan tool to read codes. The scan tool will also need to be advanced enough to access airbag controls. There may be an issue with the airbag module, a connection error, or other issues with the various sensors used in the airbag circuit. The airbag control module should be located under the front passenger seat. You may want to check the module for corrosion or a bad connection. Always be careful when dealing with airbags. Disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes will ensure that the airbags will not deploy for any reason. Good luck!
