Please, Where is the fuel filter located? I'm having a random misfire at heavy loads and I believ we it's because of the fuel filter being clogged but I can't find it. Thanks!
Thank you for writing in. We need to know what engine your model has, as there were a few used that year and each has a slightly different set up for fuel induction. Chances are that your fuel filter is located inside the tank, and is not meant to be serviced like older models. If you are convinced that your fuel supply is to blame, then you will want to check your fuel pressure at the engine. You may also want to scan the vehicle again to see if there are any additional diagnostic codes available besides a misfire code. These can be helpful in determining if the misfire is electrical (ignition related), fuel related, or caused by a mechanical/physical problem.
