Brand new to buying a car, saw a cadi 2005 sts v8 with 45,000 miles on it for $1,500 . Seems to good to be true. Says there is no issues with the car n in good condition. How believable is that n what would a normal price be? Ty

Thank you for writing in. That pricing definitely does seem too good to be true. It may be an typo, or there may be something wrong with the vehicle. A 2005 only having 45,000 miles on it is extremely low. Secondly, a low price tag like that on a car with low mileage is also interesting. If you proceed with the purchase, make sure you get a pre-purchase inspection done before you buy it. A qualified technician will inspect the vehicle and check it for signs of issues. This will include the suspension, electrical systems, and more. Pre-purchase inspections are always important when buying a used vehicle, but when the sale seem suspicious like this, they are dire to ensure you are not being scammed. 

You may also want to run a vehicle history report on the VIN, so you can get reports on any crashes and maintenance.
