Hi! I got into trouble last night. I was trying to reverse down a narrow street and hit a car's front bumper quite hard. But when i checked, it has no dents nor scratches. It looks exactly like nothing happened. When the owner went down, he inspected his car and opened the driver's door and we heard a creaking sound and told us that it was from the impact. Is it possible to have the door damaged if the impast was on the front bumper? Thank you!
Hello,
Thank you for writing in. It is very possible for the forces of the impact to have misaligned the door hinge, door frame, or door itself so that it now makes a noise. The forces behind your vehicle are transferred through whatever you make contact with and can cause a ripple effect throughout the vehicle. The hinge may simply need lubrication to keep it from creaking, and a new noise doesn't mean that there is any serious damage. Good luck!
If I wanted to buy a cover for my car what size should I buy ?
