I’m noticing this strange rattling sound in my Toyota land cruiser 2008. It’s completely smooth once I start the car but this sound comes back when I start driving or park my car back. What could it be? Manifold gasket is not leaked. I have I checked.

Hello,

Thank you for writing in. There is no way of knowing what the noise may be without getting some more information. We want to start by narrowing down where the noise may be coming from. This means that we need to determine if it is an engine noise, a transmission noise, a sound coming from the suspension, or something else. It is also a grood idea to look over the vehicle. Check for proper fluid levels, look for anything that is out of place, and look for any obvious signs of damage under the vehicle or under the hood. A trained technician will be able to pinpoint the unwanted noised with a test drive. See your local AskPatty.com Certified service center for more help.

Good luck!
