Thank you for writing in. The warning light indicates an issue with the electronic throttle control system. There are several components in the system that can fail. You will want to have the vehicle scanned for diagnostic codes to determine what about the system triggered the check engine light. You can make repairs from there.
Its good that you noticed the color of the light as well. Typically, warning lights are colored depending on how "immediate" the problem is. A red light indicates a major problem that can cause you to stall or breakdown. An orange light tends to be less serious, and so forth. Good luck!
