Yes my mom's 2007 acted up today. She got a check engine light on and a power steering message on the way home. I took it to Autozone to get the code read But lost the copy or it. I believe it had stored codes of pcm not not sending to power steering and an ignition code which I believe they had a recall on before and dealer had fixed .. I did some research online and there seemed to be a recall on this electric power steering pump but she never got a notice about it. I think GM should take care of this

Hello,

Thank you for writing in. If there is a recall on the power steering pump you will be able to find that information using the VIN from your mother's vehicle. A Chevrolet dealership or a manufacture online source should be able to give you full recall and warranty information on your mom's specific vehicle based on the vehicle identification number. If the same recalled part had already been fixed on her vehicle, then the part may still be under a warranty of some kind as well. All services that are warrantied by the manufacture will be tracked through their systems based on the car's VIN. A manufacture dealership will be able to give you all of that information the quickest. Good luck!
