My car is acting like its not getting enough fuel and losing power and the engine light is now flashing, was wondering what it could be

Thank you for writing in. There are several components that would cause a lack of power, lack of acceleration, and a check engine light. The best place to start is by figuring out what turned on the check engine light. You can do this by having the vehicle scanned for diagnostic codes, which are what trigger a check engine light. This can be done at most automotive parts stores or by a local technician. Once you have that information you can start to diagnose the problem more specifically.

You may be having an issue with the fuel pump, an air intake sensor, or a similar component. Only further inspection will tell. For more help, contact an Certified Female Friendly service center near you.
